Any way to scam for a lot of $ on Runescape?
Ok, before Jagex made all the cheesy updates to runescape, I was able to lure, and merchant to make a lot of money. Now with the grand exchange I can't do either.
I can't even merchant, that was how I made my money.
Now I have a high total level, over 1500, and I have the skills to make money.
But I want to be able to make a lot of money really fast.
So is there any way to do any scams or merchanting that can make that kind of money fast?Any way to scam for a lot of $ on Runescape?
For $4.39 you can have 1 million gold on RuneScape. There are other offers for as well.Any way to scam for a lot of $ on Runescape?
Thats why runescape made these updates. It's so people like you can't lure/cheat.
The merchanting part I can understand, but luring.. come on.
Make money the honest way. You'll end up getting banned for trying to scam. It's impossible to scam these days. I am happy for the updates. I know you don't care, but think of the people who got scammed? Imagine how they must have felt. That is, if you have any empathy.
Train a money making skill - woodcutting, mining, fletching, crafting. When it's trained high enough, money will come easy.
The Barrows minigame can bring in a lot of money fairly quickly
Well, why would you want to take away money from honest players, scamming isnt the way to do it. Everytime you scam a player, a babies head gets crushed and when that head gets crushed, then a mother cries, and when a mother cries, a mouse poops in food, and when a mouse poops in food, a person is poisend, and when a person is poisend, a turtle dies, and when a turtle dies, a pile of leaves craps out a rainbow, and then when a rainbow appears, people smile....and you dont want people to be happy right? So dont scam people, buy and sell items at reasonable prices.
doing scams are stupid i know how to get money a fast way how about you rob a bank lol

RuneScape Grand Exchage?
What the hell is wrong with the Grand Exchange?
Someone on the RuneScape Forums said ';Selling Steel Bars, Minimum Price on the GE';.
And I am buying steel bars minimum price and have been waiting for about 20 minutes.
If they are selling and I am buying, why is it not working?
And note that I am experienced with the Grand Exchange, I know how to use it and some good items to merchant on it ^.^RuneScape Grand Exchage?
someone bought the steel bars and he isn't aware of it so he continues to say he's selling them.RuneScape Grand Exchage?
He has a bad conection or He left.
Either you or him hit the limit on which you can either buy/sell raw materials/goods for a set period.
Wait until the period is over, or trade like normal.
Chances are somebody beat you to the punch :( The grand exhange accesses all accounts buying or selling at the same time. so somebody possibly Bought them without the seller noticing the update. therefore. he was still typing his offer.
Hope i helped

How to make money on runescape merchanting?
I am asking this because i would like to have some dragon armor and a whip and some other items. With the new update of the 3k limit and the grand exchange I am not able to merchant, if you have a way i can make money with merchanting on the grand exchange, or with combat ( i am lvl 80)please help me out.
thanks alot
ps. i will choose a best answer so be tdetailed with your answers pleaseHow to make money on runescape merchanting?
Although the grand exchange has changed the way in which people trade and merchanting altogether, it is however possible to continue merchanting.
Normally it is done by merchanting items on busy servers at locations far from the grand exchange, where people are willing to buy items at such a price so that they dont have to travel all the way to varrock to get it at the price they want.
Another way is to use the grand exchange itself to merchant. This involves buying items at the minimum price and then selling them again at the maximum price. However this way can take a long time as you first have to wait for items to be sold to you and then wait for a buyer when you go onto re-sell them which can be hard.
As a result most people have started to give up on merchanting and have began earning using their monemaking skills such as woodcrafting and mining etc.
Anyway if you do choose to merchant, good luck!
I hope that helps =)How to make money on runescape merchanting?
hello, now i think its almost impossible to merchant now with the new updates but... what you could do is buy things that are low in price 1-20k like rune scimitar for example then go sel me 1 at a time at grand exchange so your buying for complete minimum then selling for maximum.. other then that your best option is to fish/woodcut for your runescape gp.
thanks alot

There is no ';easy'; way of making money. Thats a fact. I have tried every single moneymaking scheme there is to find on the internet, and some of them worked for a short period of time, some didnt work at all, and some I worked at, just to be foiled by Jagex's devious plot to make Runescape worse for all players(*Cough* Taking out Pking *Cough*). In any case, I can always share some little ways I have found to make decent money, as long as you are not a bloodthirsty moneymonster like me (=P). In fact, it is much like the ';real'; world.
There are three ways of getting rich:
1. Winning the lottery(Treasure Trails, Bounty Hunter, Duelling, etc)
2. Hard work(Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, etc.)
3. Stealing(Scamming other players, which is now impossible in RS)
If youre looking for a quick way to make money, and you dont need it to work, try your hand at Duelling or Treasure trails.
THIS GUIDE IS FOR HARD WORKERS ONLY. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A WAY TO MAKE MONEY THROUGH LUCK, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
NOTE: You have not stated whether you are a member or not. If you are, then that's a whole 'nother ball game.
MONEYMAKING SCHEME #1: Cowhides
Money made per hour: 50k +
Items needed: A weapon
Skills needed: Be able to kill a cow(8hp) reasonably quickly(1-3 hits), Having done ';Prince Ali Rescue'; would be a distinct advantage
Steps:
1. Get out your best weapon(Dont use armor unless it is absolutely necessary so that you dont get killed by a cow =P ; This is to save your running energy)
2. Go just north-east of Lumbridge, across the water, and find the place with a bunch of cows
3. Fight the cows until you have a full inventory of cowhides
4. Take all cowhides to either Lumbridge or Al Kharid Bank(Lumbridge only if you havent completed ';Prince Ali Rescue';)
5. Bank ALL cowhides
6. Heal if needed
7. Repeat steps 2-6 until you have about 1000 cowhides(will take about 36 trips)
8. Once you have all the cowhides, do one of two things: Sell them on GE for about 118 ea, or find a buyer in Al Kharid in a populated world, and sell them for more
9. Repeat process until you have a satisfying amount of money
MONEYMAKING SCHEME #2: Woodcutting
Money made per hour: 52k +, but as you get over 60 woodcutting it will get better
Items needed: Rune WC axe
Skills needed: 60+ Woodcutting
Steps:
1. Take out your rune axe, and go to edgeville(search on rs maps)
2. Just south of the bank, in this little area, you will see some yew trees ; go to them
3. Cut the yew trees until you have a full inventory
4. Run to the bank, bank the yews
5. Repeat steps 2-4 until you have about 1000 yews(37ish trips)
6. Once you have the yews, sell them on GE for about 347 coins each
7. Repeat process until you have a satisfying amount of money
MONEYMAKING SCHEME #3: Mining
Items needed: Rune pickaxe
Skills needed: 30+mining
Steps:
NOTE: All right, im not a miner, so I have no clue about any of this, but I will try to illustrate a simple way to make money through mining.
1. Find a type of rock that you are willing to mine constantly, and find a place to get it
2. Go to that place, and keep on mining until you have 1000 of that ore
3. Sell them for GE price at GE
4. Repeat process until you have a satisfying amount of money
MONEYMAKING SCHEME #4: Fishing
Items needed: Lobster cage, about 5k
Skills needed: 40+ Fishing
NOTE: Do not cook lobsters at any time, as they lose value when cooked
Steps:
1. Take out your lobster cage and money, go to Karamja
2. Go to the top, there will be a dock
3. Fish lobsters until you have a full inventory
4. Run to the bank in either Draynor or Falador
5. Bank all lobsters
6. Repeat steps 1-5 until you have about 1000 lobsters (40ish trips)
7. Sell lobsters for ____ Ea at GE
8. Continue this process until you have a satisfying amount of money
MONEYMAKING SCHEME #5: Tanning
Money per hr: 50k +
NOTE: All of the other moneymaking schemes are well known, but this one I came up with myself.
Items needed: 150k To start(this will cover all costs)
Skills needed: NONE! (Thats the best part =] )
Steps:
1. Buy yourself some really cool and standing-out clothes(I myself chose some golden robes), you can spend about 10-15k of the 150k for this
2. Change your hair, skin, or clothes color to look even cooler with your outfit
3. Make sure you look as cool as possible, then go to the Al Kharid bank with about 120k in your inventory
4. Heres where you choose what you are willing to pay for the cowhides you will be buying. I am suggesting anywhere from 100 to 120 each
5. Now practice your fast typing skills ; heres what you type:
white:shake:Buying all noted cowhides 100 Ea! (You may change according to your price, but only change the price part)[REMEMBER: KEEP FIRM ABOUT THE NOTING!]
6. Continue switching worlds. Thats the secret ; once a few people have traded you, or if the bank is dead, just keep on world hopping
7. After a while, try to make some friends among the cowhide sellers, and try to find some long-term suppliers
8. These long term suppliers will kill cows, get the hides, then sell them to you
9. Every once in a while, get the workers a little reward, maybe just a set of addy or something(This will make them keep on coming to you)
10. After a while, you can have about 5 workers, and you can create whatever rules in your ';business'; as you want
11. Use Sals realm of RS forums, and other runescape forums, to advertise your business
12. In any case, soon you will have 1k noted hides.
13. Bank them all, and take out 3k cash, and fill the rest of the inventory with hides
14. Walk to the tanner(a few stores above the bank), and right click ON THE HARD LEATHER SPOT-%26gt; tan ALL
15. After 38-ish trips, you will have all your cowhides tanner into HARD LEATHER(Hard leather is worth more [If it suddenly becomes worth less, change to normal leather] )
16. Go to GE and sell the hard leather for net price(last time i checked about 170ea)
17. Congratulations, you have just made some money =p
18. Continue this until you have a satisfying amount of money
NOTE: IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, OR IF YOU ARE A MEMBER LOOKING FOR MONEY, JUST EMAIL ME AT i_like_Red_lollypops@yahoo.caWhat is the best way to make money on runescape?

well you could mine for bronze iron silver or whatever u can mine for the u make it into bars then smith then u sell what ever u made of the bars at the general store
collect bones i buy them for 100 each very easy just kill goblins. really easy dude trust me
if u mem get lax crazy 1 mil in 1 week.
Buy lots of empty vials, go to falador, use the pump there, when done, sell and wala.
There's a place in Barbarian Village (you might want to take all your stuff off and put it in the bank except for three items - because you're chances of dying are quite high - but it's worth it) you'll see a little hole (it's shown on the map in Barbarian Village with a little mining symbol and an exclamation mark).
Right click and go down and there's a place you can go and you go to each level and have to answer questions and go through doors to the treasure and in total you get about 10.5k and multi-coloured shoes. It's worth it, trust me.
You can also kill giant rats (they can be found behind Lumbridge Castle) and get the raw rat meat and sell it at the Grand Exchange in Varrock. You can sell about 20 pieces for 2.5k or something. This gets your fighting skills up as well of your money, so it's worth giving it a try.
Hope this helps,

Right click and go down and there's a place you can go and you go to each level and have to answer questions and go through doors to the treasure and in total you get about 10.5k and multi-coloured shoes. It's worth it, trust me.
You can also kill giant rats (they can be found behind Lumbridge Castle) and get the raw rat meat and sell it at the Grand Exchange in Varrock. You can sell about 20 pieces for 2.5k or something. This gets your fighting skills up as well of your money, so it's worth giving it a try.
Hope this helps,
Paige =).
Make Runescape money with my skill levels? Willing to merchant?
Ok, so before the Grand Exchange I would just merchant iron ores and make millions. I stopped playing for two years and had given all of my money away, but i started again. Now i just have been cutting yews but that isnt a fast enough income for me. Any ideas on how i can make about 1 mil in a day decently fast with my skills.

Ummm Same thing with Flax
Level ur Rune Crafting up more, to make better money, use all ur rune ess %26gt;pure%26lt; or when ur done being a member use reg ess...And get it to like 40 something and make tons of Choas Runes and sell those for a ton, same thing for Laws and Deaths
Thats all i remember making alot from...

This little quick tutorial is pretty awesome and time consuming. What you'll have to do for the next two weeks and do 'The Feud', watch several youtube videos on blackjacking, and various spots to thieve. Selling these items and collecting gold overtime will eventually have you at 7 million, in TWO weeks! Thought it will get insanely boring, it will pay off in the end.
For additional infomation google the videos to see it vividly, and get an ideal of all the locations used. (Sorc's garden is a recommened area, bring water skins, and some food if you have low hitpoints. That was not listed so im unaware.
If your a mercher i would recommend doing black platelegs (g) they go up and down like a rollercoster but it takes a while
You can fight green dragons (lvl 79) in the chaos tunnels collect drag bones, green dragon hide, and gems. you can get anywhere from 40k - 60k doing it per inventory (takes like 15 mins for me) watch out for baby black drags they are super annoying. this is a multi combat area so you can be attacked by more than one dragon... dont forget anti fire shield. bank at edgeville.
fishing lobsters is always good. but it does take a while, i dont think you will get 1 mill a day. if you would do it do it at catherby. and if you do it enough you will get to fish sharks which is good and thats what i do.
if you didn't want to risk losing anything collect swamp tar at lumbrige swamp they are 200 gp each and sell fairly easy and they are stackable so you can just get them over and over without banking.
And one more you can buy black dragon hide (like 1000 of em) and go to ah karid or whatever and go back and forth between bank and ellis dude i get like 500k everytime i do it...
those were just like a couple ways to makke money i recomment green dragons...
one more thing i would collect charms that way you can get summoning up lots... summoning helps you with a lot of things
if you need any more help feel free to ask me through runescape i pry will be on lots in the summer... im snail face12

How Can I Make A Good Runescape Merch Clan?
Hello everyone.
OK so i heard that in a grand exchange merchant clan the leader gets most of the $$$
So what i want to know is everything bout a merch clan because at th moment i know nothing.
Like how do i find a good item to put up, how do ithe leader make the most money, how do i know when to tell everyone to sell the item, should i change my name to something to do with money, whats some merch clan slang words.
All stuff like that. So if you have hada merchanting clan before i would really really appreciate your help. ThankyouHow Can I Make A Good Runescape Merch Clan?
Runescape merch clans are clans that get a huge amount of people to buy one item. The items price will go up and every will then sell the item. This gives them a huge profit. Hence the name “Merch”.
As most Runescape player agree merch clans should stop what they are doing. They control the economy of Runescape and ruin the balance of prices. The items they choose to merch prices vary so widely that the average Runescape player either has to pay an outrages price for the thing he wants or the item is so spammed that a player can’t even sell or buy that item. http://www.igegolds.com

First off, I would not advise you to make a merchanting clan. My reasoning for this is because they never last, due to members selling early, and your accounts can get banned. Also you can't learn how to run a merchanting clan in one night. It take months of trial and error to learn the ways of the GE. This might not of been what you were looking for, but I hope I was of some help.HOW DO I MAKE A RUNESCAPE MERCH CLAN?!?!?
i wouldnt recomend doing that, jagex doesnt like it and it trying to make it against the rules if it isnt already, and if it werent, you would need a few 100mil to acctually get alot of gp

Runescape grand exchange?
i have 6.3m in cash in runescape and full bandos with gs. i dont know how to merchant for my life. i sat at the ge for an hour merching rune sets and i only made 3k.. can anyone help me and give me a guide or something or tell me your name in runescape and talk to me about it please, thanks, keep your private chat on =]Runescape grand exchange?
If u have all that then just keep doing what you did to get it.
But if u want to merch then join a merchanting clan. Do not buy the item right away tho. Check the graph of the price in the Ge database and make sure it seems good because a lot of clans will scam.

Can anybody help me out with the Grand Exchange on Runescape?
A lot of people Merchant, and i want to know how to figure out what the price of an item will be? Can somebody help me out? Like, what it will be in a week? Something like that. Can anybody help me out with the Grand Exchange on Runescape?
it is almost impossible to tell, but if some way some how you know how many people are buying and selling the item then you can short of tell.
the Grand exchange is Supply and demand. say 1000 people are buying a rare item that is hard to get and only like 100 people sell a day, it will go up because no one is selling it witch makes the value go up. cause no one willing to sell.
i hope that help....Can anybody help me out with the Grand Exchange on Runescape?
Well you can't exactly tell the price but you can check wether that item is going down in price or higher?
just merchant in clans if you don't quite understand
That is impossible its like trying to figure out the price of a stock in real life in a week. but you can get a very educated guess by going to teh grand exchange section on runescape home page under ';community'; i think. then there is a graph and if it is going down then it will probably keep going down, and if its goin up then its probably gonna keep goin up but a week is a long time.
To check the price of your armor and/or items, you must first unequip the stuff you want to check the price on. Then go to the armor menu and click on Price Checker and then click on the Items you want to check the price on. P.S. You can do multiple Items.
I merchant, and ive made about 1m in like a month. first. u need like 2.4m
then buy 80k maple logs at LOWEST. then sell them at 2 or 3 gp higher then that if u sell 2gp more u make 160k, if u sell 3gp ull make 240k. hope this helps, also, if u dont have enoughp muney for dat, buy mind runes at lowest and sell med.
ok on rs mainpage there is a grand exchange thing, it shows what items have been over time, this gives an idea of what is rising naturally and what is being merched, go for the items that the price has been rising steady, rather than extremely fast over last couple of weeks, the ones with the fast rises are either very new or being merched, and will crash
go get eduacted on the topic economics and you will learn about merchanting and you will be able to make a good idea of the price range an item will be in the future.black hair myspaces.com

If you buy something in the grand exchange how long until you can sell it?
Im trying to merchant with 516k in runescape. I was wondering If you buy something in the grand exchange how long until you can sell it? Also what are good items to invest inIf you buy something in the grand exchange how long until you can sell it?
There's no limit that I know of. I merchant on the Grand Exchange too, and I normally have one buy order and one sell order in for the same item.
For example I might be buying 100 of some item for 97k each and selling 100 of the same item for 103k. Come back like 12 hours later and both orders are filled. I get 600k profit.
I don't think there's anything preventing you from selling an item right back to the exchange.
As far as what you should merchant, I'd look for an item in the 10-20k price range. Don't pick an item that's player made. Don't pick an item you can buy in a store. The best item is one where the price isn't going up or down. Good Luck.If you buy something in the grand exchange how long until you can sell it?
Actually, there IS a four hour wait time. If you buy a games necklace, for instance, it will not be bought for 4 hours for sure. You can still place it for sale, but it will not sell for four hours.
How long? Until it's sold. After that, you can't sell it anymore.
You can sell it immediately after you purchase it, there's no rules saying you have to keep that item for an amount of time.
If you have 516k, I'd merchant rune armour or coal, these 2 items are always in great demand.

To merc is to buy stuff low and sell high. As for what to merc, you'll have to find that out yourself. Most mercs are tight lipped about that (myself included) because once you start doing it, you might ruin the market for them. How to merchant with the grand exchange on runescape?

I have 1 mill but never play anymore. I suggest buying expensive things when the price goes down and selling them when the price goes up.

How to merchant on the Grand Exchange?
i remember the old days where i could buy a granite maul for 50k off of a new runescape player and sell it to a rich person for 110k, making lots of mil on inventory. With the trade limit and grand exchange, it isnt as easy, but it is possible. Could someone tell me how and what items to merchant on the grand exchange? i have 500k at the moment. How to merchant on the Grand Exchange?
A few things I've heard of are gold bars, buy at min, wait till they go up, and sell max. This also works with obby shields, some fish, and if you get enough money, dragon 2h's work pretty well.

How do you Merchant from Grand Exchange off Runescape?
Yes, you CAN merchent. It's easy now with GE, but yet more complicated. So please don't say you can't. I want to know, how do you merchent, what do you merchent and all the extra details. I am a beginner (lvl 100 in p2p) who has never merchent...ever. So yeah, you can call me a noob, whatever. But please help :)How do you Merchant from Grand Exchange off Runescape?
u set ur purchase price for the minimum or a lil below average, then you repost at halfway between max or at max.
i did whips. dont play anymore though but that worked really well for me on the GE. SPECIALLY when you can buy 3-4 whips at a time. How do you Merchant from Grand Exchange off Runescape?
For merchanting you need good money to start off with.
I would go with basic few things before i discuss the items.
Rs has its own stock market thingy. Look on rs main webpage for grandexchange link. look for basic items like Dragon bones, addy arrows, death rune which market a lot . buy them for 5 or gp less than nomial price and sell them for higher price.
The more you buy the more profit you can make. Its not easy to merchant you have to be on top of everthing.
