Can anybody help me out with the Grand Exchange on Runescape?

A lot of people Merchant, and i want to know how to figure out what the price of an item will be? Can somebody help me out? Like, what it will be in a week? Something like that.Can anybody help me out with the Grand Exchange on Runescape?
it is almost impossible to tell, but if some way some how you know how many people are buying and selling the item then you can short of tell.



the Grand exchange is Supply and demand. say 1000 people are buying a rare item that is hard to get and only like 100 people sell a day, it will go up because no one is selling it witch makes the value go up. cause no one willing to sell.

Well you can't exactly tell the price but you can check wether that item is going down in price or higher?

That is impossible its like trying to figure out the price of a stock in real life in a week. but you can get a very educated guess by going to teh grand exchange section on runescape home page under ';community'; i think. then there is a graph and if it is going down then it will probably keep going down, and if its goin up then its probably gonna keep goin up but a week is a long time.
To check the price of your armor and/or items, you must first unequip the stuff you want to check the price on. Then go to the armor menu and click on Price Checker and then click on the Items you want to check the price on. P.S. You can do multiple Items.
I merchant, and ive made about 1m in like a month. first. u need like 2.4m

then buy 80k maple logs at LOWEST. then sell them at 2 or 3 gp higher then that if u sell 2gp more u make 160k, if u sell 3gp ull make 240k. hope this helps, also, if u dont have enoughp muney for dat, buy mind runes at lowest and sell med.
ok on rs mainpage there is a grand exchange thing, it shows what items have been over time, this gives an idea of what is rising naturally and what is being merched, go for the items that the price has been rising steady, rather than extremely fast over last couple of weeks, the ones with the fast rises are either very new or being merched, and will crash
go get eduacted on the topic economics and you will learn about merchanting and you will be able to make a good idea of the price range an item will be in the future.

Im trying to merchant with 516k in runescape. I was wondering If you buy something in the grand exchange how long until you can sell it? Also what are good items to invest inIf you buy something in the grand exchange how long until you can sell it?
There's no limit that I know of. I merchant on the Grand Exchange too, and I normally have one buy order and one sell order in for the same item.



For example I might be buying 100 of some item for 97k each and selling 100 of the same item for 103k. Come back like 12 hours later and both orders are filled. I get 600k profit.



I don't think there's anything preventing you from selling an item right back to the exchange.



As far as what you should merchant, I'd look for an item in the 10-20k price range. Don't pick an item that's player made. Don't pick an item you can buy in a store. Actually, there IS a four hour wait time. If you buy a games necklace, for instance, it will not be bought for 4 hours for sure. You can still place it for sale, but it will not sell for four hours.

How long? Until it's sold. After that, you can't sell it anymore.
You can sell it immediately after you purchase it, there's no rules saying you have to keep that item for an amount of time.



If you have 516k, I'd merchant rune armour or coal, these 2 items are always in great demand.

It depends on when you read this...if you read this within the next few hours, then yew longbows...they are the lowest they have been in a long time and are about to go up.. Soft clay is low too right now...



If not you could try just buying like 100k airs 12gp and sell 13 or 14 ea make an easy 100k-200k

i remember the old days where i could buy a granite maul for 50k off of a new runescape player and sell it to a rich person for 110k, making lots of mil on inventory. With the trade limit and grand exchange, it isnt as easy, but it is possible. A few things I've heard of are gold bars, buy at min, wait till they go up, and sell max. This also works with obby shields, some fish, and if you get enough money, dragon 2h's work pretty well.

u set ur purchase price for the minimum or a lil below average, then you repost at halfway between max or at max.

For merchanting you need good money to start off with.

I would go with basic few things before i discuss the items.

Rs has its own stock market thingy. Look on rs main webpage for grandexchange link. look for basic items like Dragon bones, addy arrows, death rune which market a lot . buy them for 5 or gp less than nomial price and sell them for higher price.

The more you buy the more profit you can make. Its not easy to merchant you have to be on top of everthing.
